A minimalist, plastic-free mini-pack made of 100% organic cotton. The cutest thing we make, this one is perfect as a purse when in town and as a small daypack when out on the trails. It fits a lunch, tablet, paperback, and a change of socks and t-shirt. The flat outer pocket on the back holds a phone and a slim wallet. Keys, water bottle, bike lock and sunglasses can be hung on the side and front carabiner loops. We treat it with fresh beeswax for waterproofing. It's plastic-free down to the thread and designed with minimal metal (2 buckles only!) and maximal ethical and renewable resources.
This product is hand-dyed in our studio with plant and mineral dyes and hand-waxed. Colour variations and light or dark spots are normal, make each bag unique, and are beautiful vestiges of the hand-made process. All plant dyes gradually fade over time with exposure to light and life. Also keep in mind that your screen may not be accurate in representing colours as shown. Please get in touch with us if you have any colour concerns before ordering.
These backpacks are made on Mnidoo Mnis (Manitoulin Island), as a team effort between Amber (cutting and prep), Paula (sewing), Jordyn (dyeing, waxing and marketing), and Mariana (dyeing, design and marketing).
See size details below. For a sense of scale, the model in the photos is 5'8" tall and 125 lbs.
