Collection: Hand-dyed, hand-waxed natural fibre rucksacks

The signature CHEMISTRY + CRAFT minimalist roll-top rucksack uses an innovative and versatile drawstring closure design, allowing for minimal metal use (2 buckles only) and minimal plastics (sometimes we use recycle yoga mats for strap padding, but will phase this out). All are made with hemp, organic cotton, beeswax, plant dyes, and vegetable-tanned leather. The same system comes in three sizes: Shale 7L, Quartzite 14L and Dolomite 18L. You'll find many unique variants of this model with materials at hand in studio; vintage cotton for liners, scraps from a previous project, salvaged suede leather or high-quality upcycled canvas.
