Shale 7L cotton canvas rucksack *hint of gold*

A minimalist mini-pack made of 100% organic cotton. The cutest thing we make, this one is perfect as a purse when in town and as a small daypack when out on the trails. It fits a lunch, tablet, paperback, and a change of socks and t-shirt. The flat outer pocket on the back holds a phone and a slim wallet. Keys, water bottle, bike lock and sunglasses can be hung on the side and front carabiner loops.

This rucksack is made with undyed cotton canvas and a slight golden glow from the beeswax finish. Some of the finishes use leftover bits of taupe coloured canvas, and grey cow suede (for the handle strap). The inner liner is made with a brown upcycled, thickly weaved cotton. 

Our canvas rucksacks are treated with northern Ontario beeswax for weatherproofing. Natural fibre and thread, designed with minimal metal (2 buckles only), minimal recycled plastic (for the shoulder strap padding) and maximal ethical and renewable resources. While we strive to make plastic-free products, we will occasionally recycle a yoga mat for padding in the shoulder straps or back. 

Colour variations and light or dark spots are normal, make each bag unique, and are beautiful vestiges of the hand-made process. All plant dyes gradually fade over time with exposure to light and life. Also keep in mind that your screen may not be accurate in representing colours as shown.
